BBC Culture: A$AP Rocky's Paris Fashion Week debut show

I self-coordinated a freelance reporting trip to Paris Fashion Week and secured a commission from BBC News to provide coverage of shows on the ground. One of these was a highly-anticipated, secret off-calendar show from US rapper A$AP Rocky’s creative agency AWGE, titled: '“American Sabotage”. My article for BBC Culture announces the rapper’s fashion debut and provides an immersive insight into the private showcase and the new collection. The article analyses the politically-charged messaging behind the designs and the space made for creative disruptors amongst veterans at Paris Fashion Week. Highlights include the inclusion of teasers from the rapper’s unreleased album; and the show’s A-list attendees; including Rihanna. My photographer for this project was Alexandra Mavros.
